What happened to the 2-disc special editions you guys used to do? I love your movies, but I absolutely refuse to buy a sub-standard single disc DVD. Ratatouille is my favourite pixar film to date and it really annoys me that I can't own it. When will you release it and Cars properly? The current releases are definitely not worth buying. They're just disappointing.

I agree with you and am disappointed with the Cars and Ratatouille DVD releases. Since the acquisition by Disney, the effort that used to go into creating 'Super Genius Editions' of Pixar DVDs isn't there at the moment. No commentaries or in-depth 'making of' features.

I understand that in the USA, Target has a Bonus Disc for Ratatouille with some additional story content.

Still hoping for loaded 2-disc versions of both of those films.

I just read a review for the blu-ray versions of these films and they have a great deal more extras. Are all the good special features only going to blu-ray? I hope not, because I'm not getting one of those for a looooong time.
